What Are We Up To for 2013?

As we’re well into the second month of 2013 already (how time flies when you’re having fun and all that), we’ve got some very exciting things planned for IPEye in 2013. For starters, we’re introducing two new sections to our site, geared towards increasing interaction between our readers, starting a dialogue and generally spreading the love of IP.
Parlons!: What is intellectual property (IP) if not the product of creative minds? And while IPEye focuses on legal analyses of IP in the emerging world, we also want to know more about the creators and inventors — makers of the very things we seek to understand, and whose rights (along with those of users) are at the centre of the IP storm. Starting soon, we’ll be chatting to some fascinating people who have been kind enough to share their experiences with us, and the world. Join us — parlons!
If you’d like us to profile someone, please email us at: ipeyeblog [at] gmail [dot] com or (ipeyeblog@gmail.com).
Soapbox: IPEye was started to be a fresh take on IP issues, especially in the emerging world. And while we love blogging with our two cents, the most interesting voices are the ones that live, breathe and navigate the waters of IP, from within emerging nations and without whose contributions the field of IP wouldn’t be on its incessant march forward. We’ll be bringing you varied perspectives, views, opinions, riffs and (valid) rants on science, technology, art and IP, straight from youth, students, professionals….anyone who’s got something to say on these issues, and needs a soapbox to stand on.
If you’d like to contribute, please email us at: ipeyeblog [at] gmail [dot] com or (ipeyeblog@gmail.com).
Guest Contributors: And of course, then there are the guest contributors; people with a keen interest in IP, a way with words and sharp minds that notice and write about what’s going on. Stay tuned!
If you’d like to contribute, please email us at: ipeyeblog [at] gmail [dot] com or (ipeyeblog@gmail.com).
Cheers to 2013; it’s going to be a good year!
